Blimey cue, i haven't even seen some of those let alone driven them, my list of drives reads more like a visit to the scrapheap:
In no particular order

Mini
Ford capri
2cv
Astra GTE

See what i mean

The one that comes to mind straight away. Mk 2 Lotus Cortina. Was a few years back now and probably at an impressionable age :) Always loved driving a 3.0 CSL when I could get my hands on one. Of course there's loads of others, but the above lists testify it's not all about McLaren F1's and Zondas.

The trouble with these lists is that what seemed a great car ten years ago, if you were to revisit it today would probably seem dreadful. However here is my own ranking of cars that I have owned, apart from the last two lines:

Best all round Subaru Legacy B4 (1999 twin turbo)
Best steering Honda Prelude V-tec with 4WS
Best outright handling Trophy
Most predictable handling MX5 running altered geometry – but much less
outright grip than Trophy
Best engine Subrau B4 or Astra 16v with MBE ECU fully
mapped by SBD
Silliest engine Honda Prelude V-tec
Best long distance car Volvo S60 D5 (with modified front suspension)
Worst long distance car Evo 5 - noise, ride comfort and range
Most fun Rover SD1 Vitesse (remember that in1984 when
it was new, then it was quite a beast – now
even a good one feels like a truck)
Silliest car 2CV – turbocharged (slow, rather than very
slow!)
Most boring and disappointing C Class diesel estate – even being a special
order direct form the factory on a mega deal did
not help
Worst car Rover 2000TC
Deserves a mention Corrado VR6 good all rounder, but never quite
lived up to expectations
Most lusted after New type RS4 or Carrera 4 turbo
Best test drive BMW 3.0 CSL – at Gaydon.

My overall criteria for a car is that it should be a good enough all rounder to use and enjoy every day – why park it in the garage and commute in something dull (admittedly I have never had to suffer an urban commute).

My next door neighbour has one with only 20k on it.
One of the limited edition homola...(however you spell it) specials.

6 pot racing calipers on grooved and vented discs, fuel injection (virtually unheard of at the time). Racing spec suspension. The list goes on.

He recently put an aftermarket exhaust system on it after rebuilding the engine and it sounds like one of those Aussie V8 racers. Lovely car.

I've driven a Subaru Impreza STI world rally limited edition P1 - or somthing like that. It has been the best car i've ever driven so far.

Once got driven in an Aston Martin Vantage - Bit of a handful but totally reccomended!

Prior to doing the house thing - its been more or less a build from scratch - I owned a Renault GTA (alpine to you and me) V6 Turbo and no other car ive ever driven has made me smile quite so much behind the wheel, my dad's Mpower BMs, my brothers elise, etc, even a friends mighty SL55 AMG.

Sadly though it had to go when the build started - I was truely gutted, really upset (owned it for 6 1/2 years) - but now ive hit a bit of a milestone in the project and hence the 1.2 is going to be upgraded to a Trophy in the next month or 2. If it gives me half the fun alpine did, then it'll be considered a bargain.

Other than that my car history is a bit bland i'm afraid  :
R19 16v
(the alpine)
Corsa 1.2
Astra Tdi
all crap !!!

...and currently
Clio 1.2 16v
which has actually turned out to be a rather good little car :D

Was that the novice day at bedford when they had us all in the carpark going out through that small slip road. I saw that gt2 and a few (trophy) there.
