My electric windows make a worrying noise, as they reach the top of their travel. It sounds like the glass hitting the door, maybe they are out of alignment and are being pushed too far. Sometimes when I go over a bump I can here the noise again. It sounds like the window's about to break. Any one had this?

OK, this isn't to much of a problem. But when I was moving the windows up and down, due to this noise, I realised that I was able to move the window up and down with the buttons, but the keys were not in the ignition. It only effected the drivers window. Am I going insane, but I don't think this should be happening. Bloody french car electrics lol. All the car stereotypes are true. [-o<

I have realised that if you get in the car for the first time, don't switch on, the windows wont move. The drivers side only moves after the car has started and switched off again. I think its a safety feature that prevents kids being trapped, or more stealable lol.
