I recently fitted a new non-standard air filter just wondered if anyone knew if the ecu registers the increase in air intake. Any replaced and dynno'd or anything?

The increase in airflow will be detected, but as for it making any power gains I'm not so sure! I have an ITG panel filter in mine; probably adds all of 0.1bhp.

i once got told off a very respected tuner in my area that if you add smaller mods like this you need to unplug the ECU for 5 mins then plug back in, start the car and leave to idle for 10 mins without touching the throttle for the ECU to recognise the change, whether its right or not i've always done it ha!
