Do trophys need strut braces??

The braces are usually fitted to the top and insides of the towers hence strengthening the front end between the turrets. Thing is with this kind of thing, the forces always go to the next weakest point. This is very noticable on mk1s with sunroofs. Stiffen the susp up and the roof starts buckling at the sunroof hole.
