My god! I couldnt believe just how dirty the arches were on the Trophy.
Took me about 1 hours 10mins to do both sides and they are no where near as clean as i would like them.

Also changed the plus whilst i was at it, they were crap, its not a straight ahead job either, not like changing plugs on a old school car.

:? I thought it had to be removed to get to the plugs, the plugs are underneath it, is there a easier way? If there is i couldnt see how.
I wanted to remove it anyway as i noticed a small amount of oil under it just next to the filler. Cleaned it up and it hasnt came back, must have just been over spill last time the oil was done.

oh yes - forgot. I was thinking about the williams engine. Not had to bugger about with the plugs on this one yet.

you dont have to totally remove it, you can slide it over, iv had to do it a few times when changing them on my 172 bud, also make sure you dont over tighten the 5 bolts that bolts the top inlet to the botom inlet,sa iv just replaced mine due to previous people doing them up too tight and rounding the heads :roll:
