I wasn't aware there was any difference in their suspension. I thought the cup was just stripped out of non essentials like a/c etc.

Different springs, dampers and steering geometry. The changes aren't great mind, think the drop is only 3mm!

I would have thought most full fats come with the cup packs and therefore the same suspension do they not? Wasn't it only a £200 option from new?

Knowing Renault it's a gimmick to get extra cash out of unsuspecting buyers ;)

no cos then it wouldnt be a full fat

A standard (non-cup) 182 with the cup suspension, seats and spoiler upgrades is still a full-fat. It is called that unofficially because it has the extra weight and the things that a cup doesn't have like recaro seats and xenon headlights.

The cup suspension has lower ride height, stiffer springs (20% front, 15% rear), re-rated dampers (+20% front, +10% rear), strengthened front wheel hub carriers and revised steering geometry.
