Do it, seing as your having the belts done, you wouldn't be paying an labour which would make it cost effective.

Nice gains and Matt at TDF comes highly recommended. I don't think I'd take my Trophy anywhere else now, and I live 160miles from them.

Will be in same position soon Johnny. For a standard intake setup I'd go for one of 3 options. BTM's supplied GT racing cams. TDF's supplied Cat Cams 428's or Ktec/519automotive supplied Cat cams 438's.

Still waiting on more results with the GT racing ones but results look good, especially torque.

428's are very tried and tested but timing them up apparently is a specialist job. Not real issue if you only take it to people who know what they do lol.

438's are same spec as 428's but with the idle/timing changed to have a more 'standard' timing setup iirc. And will idle bit smoother with no need to rely on the mapping to idle (someone correct me if I'm wrong)

Can't go worng with any tbh, id go to either TDF or RStuning for the remapping.

I would go for either the gt racing cams as these have potentially the best torque figure of them all, but as stated above still awaiting more results.
I emailed k-tec regarding the cat cam 438's as wanted to know if they set them up using the cat cam timing tool or just standard renault tool and they come back and said standard tools are used to set these up, unlike other cat cam's.

When mine comes up for timing belt change or cam carrier needs resealing i will be fitting cams, the idle on these new cams seems to be rather good and power increase is quite impressive for the cost of all this.

438's are the same as the more aggressive 421's but with a lot better idle and run well on standard management.
My choice would be 438's but done at Tdf.

Are TDF very good for routine servicing e.g. cam belts and the like? As good as RenTech / Birchdown?
