HID kits for £100, that sounds like a worthwhile spend versus bulb replacement, or have I got it wrong?
Where can I go and check them out.
Thanks

160dmb try having a look at this place. Have heard good things about them. Also explains the technical differences.

Reading the post again, am i correct in thinking then that to upgrade the lights you'll need:

2 X H7 (High Beam) - ?
2 X H1 (Dipped) - Silverstars
2 X ? (side lights) - Blue Vision
2 X ? (indicators) - Silvervisions

I didn't realise they caried 4 bulbs in each headlight unit.....

Is this correct?

I was going to post a new thread about headlights because I'm having trouble with mine but I'll just ask here - Is it easy to adjust the angle/height of the beams? Mine seem to have dropped in height/angle lately and it's quite hard to see at night without full beam. 8 bulbs just for the front - blimey!

Steve, you know you can alter the height of the beam using one of the dials to the right of the steering wheel at about 4 o'clock. Can't remember which of the three(?) it is.

think its the nearest dial to the wheel, should have numbers next to it!

Yep, was set at 2 but i've moved it to 3 to get a little extra distance.

I have mine between 2 and 3!

And as for the bulbs, it is H7 for dip and H1 for main beam!

As I understand it you can't just upgrade to discharge lamps and be done with it? By law HIDs have to be self levelling and fitted in conjunction with headlamp washers.....

The last discharge lamps I used were 550W a piece and cost over £100 each!!!
