WHO?
Jack Auckland (Aucky to most people).
An ambitious, yet very unfit 22 year old, From Chester.

WHAT?
After 2 weeks of running I've decided to enter for my first half marathon. I tossed around the idea of a marathon but soon realised it was a daft idea..

In order for my legs to carry me over the line I know I'll need to loose some weight and get fit first. Those of you who know me would agree I don't have a 'runner's physique'.
so, 13lbs for 13miles? DEAL!
(hence the URL)
However, the real reason I'm torturing myself is this:
WHY?

http://www.hospiceofthegoodshepherd.com

The Hospice exists to provide highly specialised palliative care for people living with advanced diseases from the communities of Chester, Deeside, Ellesmere port and Rural Cheshire.
Our services are provided free of charge to anyone in medical need. These include Medical, Nursing, Social and Emotional support for Patients and their families.
Our annual running costs are more than £6,300 each day and we rely heavily on the community we serve.
Every penny donated will make an impact on someones life. I'm truly greatful for any money that you are willing to donate.
