Actually not. The MOT stipulates the headlights must be clean, so you can keep a rag in the glovebox (really!)

I read the MOT manual when I controversially advertised some last year.

The actual problem is you blind oncoming traffic as the Trophy won't have the self-levelling parts on the car which keeps the lights steady.

These lights would be more useul to a regular 182 owner who can insure against braking a headlight which is easy to do when the clips get fragile or the headlight gets a bump. Not cheap new.

The lights rest at maximum height until you stick some bodies in the back, then they dip the beams. They are perfectly ok to fit to a T without dazzling oncoming drivers for day to day.
