as said on the other site... £7k for a concourse car... that boat has already sailed looking at the "very nice cars" but not concourse prices flying about.

"could" has to be tempered with "might not".

Nobody knows by how much prices or indeed demand might increase.

Trophy No.

The fly in the ointment here may well be emissions. The recent VW issue may provide the Government with the reason to increase taxation of emissions and to provide taxation "incentives" to switch away from older and more powerful vehicles. It's this type of unforeseen development which makes these predictions so uncertain. I'll carry on living for today and enjoying the Trophy now!

if you can afford to maintain a T, then tax should not be a problem :p

Sunlight, humidity, dust and mice! But mainly because my Garage next to the two Carcoon's is full up (not with house junk btw!)

Nice find - the magazine has sold out apparently - don't suppose anyone has one and is willing to scan it...?

£7k for a 73k one, one example that prices are on the rise, there are other examples too!

DC2s also have risen in value over the last year or so, the evo one (W448 RRU) on similar mileage was for sale for £5k 12 months ago, there's now one with similar mileage for £10k! (Again just one example, there are other examples)

The facts seem to back up what 'Modern Classics' highlighted, prices are on the rise

IMO It wasn't a very good article, it was a group of 10 projected future classics, the Trophy being 1, it wasn't in depth or very informed in terms of content or current values to my mind. Just felt a little obvious in terms of the cars highlighted. The fact Trophys are on the up and a good investment has been coming up in a lot of press of late.

Owners can can afford to hold out for good money now, days of sub £4K cars are disappearing. Which is a good thing ;-)
