One of my friends is looking for a new car and unsure which to go for. I personall think the 172 cup will be better value for money. Just wondering what you all thought? Any info would be helpfull tbh

the character of the engine in the 182 does it for me.

although the 182 cup has ghastly seat trim :(

how about a 182 with cup packs? the interior is much nicer to live with.

182 Cup. Come November, the ABS and ESP start to make life a bit more comfortable. At lest if you live out in the boonies like I do!

Inferno is such agood colour. If he can find a 182 with Recaros, go for that.

Either may be good value for money but the long term financial proposition for a Trophy would be even better.

Thanks guys i think the 182 wiuth cup packs is always an option. We are going to look at a 172 cup next week for 9k with only 7500 miles on the clock not bad for a 53 plate.

I thought I did well to get £8150 for an 8000 mile MINT 53 plate 172 Cup with Climate about 3 m ago. If I get anything 182 Cup suitable I'll post the details in the cars for sale section.

I should have a 54 plate Black 182 Cup Packs 10000m 2 owners for £9995 next week sometime.

Agree with that, I just delivered a 27000 mile 182 with Cup Packs and it was fabulous, every bit as good as the 8500 mile car the next day.
