=D>

My old man's got an auto 123D coupe.

We used it to drive up to BG with the Trophy the 2nd time I went there, a good match for a T in a straight line. Recently had a tussle with him in my RS and still had to work a bit to keep up.

His is in SE trim and I find it quite stiff enough; what's the the ride like on the M-Sport chassis?

The suspension is quite firm alright, but it handles very well, it's the runflats that can make it a little uncomfortable on very bumpy surfaces, so they will go if I don't sell the car

It is 'quite' quick in a straight line, apparently a remap brings it to another level, something I would also look into if I keep the car, mileage is still a bit low for it to be mapped I think.

I would have thought the RS would be a lot quicker :?

Oh, he couldn't have lost me, but he was making me work quite hard to keep up.

I'd think the torque will not be so far apart, plus on the road we were on, his auto box may have actually been a help as I spent half my time changing gear.

Plus annoyingly, at 74, he's still a very good driver :(
