Essex for my sins.
Oils BB are a Renault authorised specialists so there is no worry about the service records. If i remember they actually have a renault service stamp, so everything will be upto date and fine.

I think in most cases when it comes to selling a car such as the Trophy, most prospective buyers will be fully aware of the aftermarket tuning companies out there, so a stamp from the specialist, in my opion would mean more than one from a bunch of monkeys at the dealership.

i'm on 8k after 8 months having started on 30 miles. I think I'll keep hold of it until Renault or a.n. other make something better, so I could have it for a long long time.

Had my 12k service last week - all fine - £195 at a Renault dealer.

Dropped the car off and walked home. 12 miles across country on a really hot day. It seemed like a good idea at the time!

I would have given you a lift if you'd told me :) Still not spotted you, although I did see a Trophy go past the Asda roundabout 2 days ago

You have to camp out on the A352 from Sherborne to Cerne Abbas on a Saturday about 0800 or 1400. That's the only way to guarantee a sighting! It spends the rest of the week in the garage.

Not a bad price for a main dealer, was this SMC in Guildford?

No, it was crawley down renault. They are between Crawley and East Grinstead. Nearer to where I live. For main dealers they were actually really good. The people on reception were slow however the service guys knew their stuff and took care of the trophy.

Was amazed that even after a couple of trackdays nothing needed replacing on the trophy. Still plenty of life left in the brakes.

Hit the 10k mark a couple of weeks ago, now done 11,300. Think I'd better get on the phone and book it in for a service.
Is it worth taking it to renault or an independant specialist?
Anyones thoughts?

I took mine to BB tunning. Partly because is just down the road, and also coz i've had such bad service with the renault dealers around here.
BB gave a discount for being a member on Rensport website. I've not checked the service book to see what stamp they used. I'm not too bothered about getting a full service history. they use renault parts so everything is still under the warranty.
They were very friendly too, and to me thats important, that they took the time to chat about the car. The main dealers just want your money.

Add me to the list! Went over 10000 on Friday I think? Since I have the speed limiter on all the time I don't look at the total mileage except when I'm at the petrol station.
Apart from a trip to Weymouth and Bruges, its been the damn 40mile/day commute up and down the M1 that have accounted for most of them in the last 8 1/2 months.
An enjoyable 10g its been, definitely better than the 172FF and I look forward to the next 10g :D

im booked in for my 12k service next week, very enjoyable 12k, got a price from 2 local dealers, 1 for £190 and another for £150. asked both dealers what the service included and the £150 service included getting my brakes stripped down cleaned serviced and rebuild. if i wanted that from the other dealer it was going to cost me another £40 so that would have been £230 so i know who will be getting my cash!
