Not sure Ravydavygravy. It creaks when moving at slow speed with the wheels on full lock too. Have you had your exhaust mounts changed?

A bit from me on this problem. I too have suffered from the creaking (getting louder as time goes by) and so decided to follow all the advice on the forum that came to hand. First, BG did my dampers and then my local garage have replaced the Track rod ends and o/s & n/s ball joints. Sadly...

Hi. After having my dampers done by ben at BG last month, today i noticed that there is a 5mm gap between the rubber seal/absorber? and the turret that the strut is bolted to. Pop the bonnet and the bolts are there on the top of your suspension system (not mechanically minded so bear with me!)...

Hi all Picked up 422 from BG today after having the dampers refurbed. Then i visited the local tyre shop to get tracking set up and after spending a few quid in total today i can finally say i can drive the car with confidence again. Ben said the dampers were in better nick than some he`d seen...

Hello again Just checked and yes, fluid looks to have leaked around the dampers, so i think i have part of the answer :oops: Still going to have it looked at on friday but it seems likely this is the fault. thanks for the link too BenG.

Just had my new Norwich union renewal quote for fully comp insurance for £490 thats without protection of claims and protected goes to £517. Rang privilage up for a quote and fully comp protected no claims is £319. Thats the best i`ve had.

Re- Service I had my courtesy call (tuesday) from renault asking how happy etc and while at it, i asked about service shedules and was told that there is confusion due to renault introducing the new shape whilst still having some older mark2 cars on sale with 06 plates and differing maintenance...
