Can anybody who has AST top mounts advise on the rough value of full castor? I've read on clio sport that it's advised to run them at max castor (from respected people not the usual idiots) but from what i can find the Trophy has more castor than other sport models as standard so maybe this...

I'm after the same. going to take mine to Auto Dynamics. heard good things about them and they use a hunter system no idea on price yet though, I'm waiting for my new top mounts to arrive before i go and they are taking forever!

that is the correct way (I have fitted them) and yeah, make sure you get them tacked in place

Mine did this and has been cured since replacing the TDC sensor.

Theres only 2 lambda sensors. Pre-cat and "first one in manifold" are refering to the same one. The Pre-cat sensor controls fueling in closed loop operation and the post cat sensor just checks the emissions are ok and controls the emissions light, it doesnt affect the running of the vehicle.

Don't assume low miles = essentially new, could have been someones track day toy for 5 years for all we know, equally could be a nice example!

There arent always signs the dampers are gone, One of mine "went" properly and there was visible oil all over the outside. This could be cleaned up before you buy a car so my advice is assume the dampers need refurbing if no proof can be provided that they already have. Also as i always say, do...

if its just showing oil ok then that's good, have you recently had a service or topped up oil?

As far as i know, it only shows bars when it is low on oil. If it is at the correct level it just show oil ok. I have never seen bars on mine.
