Well look at it this way, it's completely reversible within 3 hours so if you are a complete fool and consider parting ways with the T you would be able to recoup a large part of the manifold cost etc as a kit! ;)
By the way, we can do you a heavily discounted cambelt change at the same time should you be interested as much of the labour involved in the cambelt service is the same as fitting the RS2. That would also give us a chance to ensure everything is hunkey dorrey timing wise and ready for further...
I should be able to do something with the parts only option like that.
(Make sure it's fitted and mapped by someone who knows what they are doing!)
I will also need car numbers off the trophy owners.
Ok great stuff, right well I would look to take a small commitment deposit of around £50.00 to start with, during mid to late January.
Then the group buy will be closed and you'll be the only ones entitled for the price. We can then move forward with people who can afford the kit straight...
As above £1500 all in would be ideal. Yes, get your names down here if it interests you and I'll add them to the list. I'll then add more details in a couple of days.
^ Yes they are from Henk as we are not ECU engineers - don't be fooled by the plethora of individuals floating around who claim to be! They are however designed for us by Henk.
In conjunction with cliosport.net we are looking to organise a reduced cost group buy for the fully fitted RS2 package, aiming to prep the cars in early 2011.
We have already have 3 confirmed names; however I would like to gauge the interest that is out there - talk to me :D
We've also...
If you've got a sports cat that's all you need. The reason a decat is common is that it is usually the cheapest option for the customer, it's not essential. I'll move some info across late, really should be watching F1!
No, we complete the fitting and then it is your responsibility to organise a mapping slot directly with Paul @ RSTuning so that you can find a time / date that suits you, of course there is however no extra payment required as the £1700.00 cost includes the parts, the fitting and the live...
Hi Mate; a maximum of two weeks at the moment.
I hand make, and fit every kit myself, so each one is built to a customers spec (colour etc) and that is what dictates the turnaround times. I need the car for 2-3 days to carry out the fitting and the road testing to ensure everything is Hunkey...
Trophy owners!? spending money on things other than cleaning products and overpriced tyres! :D
Nope, not true about the decat I'm afraid chap, it simply allows the car to generate more gogo! No fueling issues once the car is properly calibrated.
Thanks for all the comments, totally relevant & intelligent questions too which makes a change from cliosport!!
I'll tackle a couple of questions now while I have a chance, any others you may have just drop me an email: info@jmstuning.co.uk
First up - group buys - I am considering setting one...
The lights rest at maximum height until you stick some bodies in the back, then they dip the beams. They are perfectly ok to fit to a T without dazzling oncoming drivers for day to day.
Still here. Pm for more info or call me on 07756147428.
