    Trophy in Watford

Hello Sir, you may recall we briefly met up a while (years) ago; after I fitted the Orbisoud to #104, you are in a yellow Mk3 now then? I shall keep an eye out...

    Trophy in Watford

I quite often take the R400 to work, it doesn't help much with the sensible accountant reputation, but never mind things like that hey  I have spare lids, which have intercom headsets in them, makes it easier to hear passengers scream  I did have #104 at Cadwell and the...

    Trophy in Watford

Car factory built in 2004. Engine just refreshed (and fettled) so she making 232bhp, which is probably sufficient given the <500kgs weight and my skills as a peddler... Your look was nothing compared to the open mouthed stare and point I get from lots of people; but I don't mind, it is a car...

    Oops

Nice piece of fun - :) Too kind Sir. :) Colour isn't one I would have been brave enough to order myself.. But it does look very nice (the pearlescent paint) in the sunshine :) Spec sheet - I got to end of my first read through and thought pause and then read that slowly again; was that a...

    Oops

Not posted for a while, new job... Got a bit carried away last week  having waited a while I have finally become the owner a Caterham 7, a Superlight R400, 4yrs old, 10.5k mileage, pearlescent Snot green colour :D See picture at the bottom. Picked "SuperSnot" up in Dundee...

    Orbisoud exhaust.

You won't regret it  I continue to get to know my new exhaust (not many miles since purchase - new job) a hint of rumblings on over run (as in unburned fuel burning in exhaust pipes) made me smile this evening. As for the remap, your main problem will not getting knicked for speeding...

    Orbisoud exhaust.

No, about £50 as I recall. But it was part of a larger bill

    Orbisoud exhaust.

I did a >200 mile round trip for mine. No regrets afterwards. I was impressed with the care taken in the fitting process. Also requires two new mounting plates to be fitted, which I didn't want someone doing to my car for the first time.. Perhaps of more interest is the first back box they...

My Renault Clio Renaultsport 175 Trophy...

I very nearly posted exactly the same thing when I first read that. Not since the days of the now infamous KingStromba fact... But that always ended with wanting to headbutt someone! It is nice this doesn't :D

    197 F1 faster than R27 fact

I think that is nice. A bit different but in a good way. Presuming you also like it?

Orbisoud story continues and other ramblings..

Aggressive, not at all old bean. I have read many of your posts, that is not how you 'bowl them' :) The figures were below what I might have expected, but I would still recommend having it done. The additional torque is great.

My Renault Clio Renaultsport 175 Trophy...

169 (crank) 140(at wheels) I am not in the least bit bothered about it being 'low' so no calls to KTec from me either! I know it feels very different to previous. It was 7mph faster along my age old test run. It makes me smile like an idiot so money well spent...

Good news, nothing major then :) Do your reverse lights now work again aswell?

Orbisoud story continues and other ramblings..

The results were a bit less than expected weren't they. But as you say, if it makes you smile then there isn't an issue. I recorded 169BHP (adjusted to 'at crank') but that is more than enough, particularly for someone with my ability  Torque was 150 by the way for reference Steve I...

Orbisoud story continues and other ramblings..

I thought that would be the figure at the wheels? Or am I getting confused (probably) There are other Tomato cars in attendance, no idea as to their state of fettling though, will do some investigation and report back..

Orbisoud story continues and other ramblings..

 quaking wallet.. I also was in the 'no major mods' camp for a while, but then moved to the 'if I do it I do it properly' camp; the wallet does take some abuse! But I am not feeling short changed, if that is any help and I am tight fisted bean counter  As to figures I will post...

Steve, I spoke with Saner. All booked in :) I am one of the last to run (#24 I think) so with any luck you might still be be around, when I arrive. If not I will post 'the numbers' on here for your reference after the event.

I see what you mean, but it is the photo I think. I didn't think it protruded when I was underneath having a good look whilst at Ren-Tech In answer to asims question, spot on SpaceMonkey. It is the silencer. I went for the 'ladies' version I'm afraid. Actually 'ladies' version is sexist, the...
