NS-2Rs are a brilliant tyre IMHO. I was initially put off purchasing them by the image of the brand but I absolutely love them. Sticky as anything and really suited to the light, nimble Trophy.
The MM ones are a perfect fit and they do what they are supposed to do. Since neither the MM or SGS ones are OEM I'm not sure you can say that one is more correct than the other TBH. So long as everyone is happy with their choice etc etc.
Hi :)
That happened when I purchased mine and then they dropped backed down again after a few days. I know some retailers put their prices up when they go out of stock so that no one buys the product, and then drop back to the usual price once they have stock again. It saves them having to...
Are the Sachs OK? My car knocked like crazy and didn't handle well when I first purchased it. When I took the Sachs off for a returb and fitted standard dampers, I realised how knackered they were.
The MM ones seem to be about perfect in terms of strength TBH. Once you open it, the boot rises quickly (but not violently) and then slows to a nice steady pace at the top of the arc. Plenty of clearance for the spoiler even though the shock is maybe 5mm longer than OEM.
Just took a quick...
Quick bump for this thread as I've just fitted the Magneti Marelli struts - reference GS0670. They are a perfect fit, work brilliantly and look OEM. I got mine from eBay seller euromotofan_com for £26 posted last week although they've now gone up to £55 for some reason.
Can't believe I've...
The 40mm drop quoted by Eibach is for the standard 182 so the drop on the Trophy is more like 20mm. Most people fit Sportline rather than Profit.
Do a forum search for "Eibach" and it'll bring loads of options and opinions.
Here's a few of mine from over the years. I used to chop and change a fair bit before we had kids but not so much any more. Currently got the Trophy and E30 M3 Evo II.

325 Sport
E46 M3
GMC Stepside
Mustang GT (supercharged)

Michelin Pilot Sport 3 205/45r16. Dated end of 2013 and been on the rear so very little wear. A good 5/6mm left. No repairs or faults that I can see. £40 plus post or collect from Wirral.
Michelin Exalto 205/45r16. Dated 2007 so pretty old but been on rear so a good 3/4mm left. One quite deep...
The same has happened to the car I've just purchased and a tab has snapped off (facing rear of the car). Can't see anyway to repair it but they are only £10 to replace and it looks an easy job.
Hi guys, further to my post in the register I thought I'd give you a bit more detail on #387. I picked it up yesterday from a guy who'd advertised it on Cliosport. Had great drive from Guildford back up to the North West first on the M40 and then the A41, which is a great Trophy type road I...
