I really liked it. I had a map on my old 182 and the RS tuner was better. The RS Tuner also allows you to change the maps and monitor your cars performance too. It's a great bit of kit, and I've only heard good reports of it.
I had a standard Trophy and I noticed more power (torque in...
Hi everyone.
Now I no longer own a Trophy I have no use for my RS Tuner module I bought from Fastchips.
Is anyone interested? It is in box as new, only used once.
Obviously it is calibrated to my old car but car but can be remotely reset by Henk at Fastchips for €50.
The unit retails at €189...
Hi everyone,
Following the sale of Trophy 415 I have almost a full 5l bottle of Silkolene Pro S that is now redundant. There is about 4.5l in the bottle left.
This cost about £50+postage a short while ago.
Does anyone want this for £30 +postage?
(postage will be about £5 or can be picked up...
I'm going to take mine off the market...I honestly can't see them dropping below £6-6.5k for quite a while and I'd prefer to keep it than sell it for that.
I honestly thought these cars would hold there value better than they are doing so. Look how well the Focus RS has done, which in my...
I've got mine on for just under £8k with 19k miles. I moved to central London and I just don't get a chance to use it. Had a bit of interest but nothing serious. I'm not lowering the asking price even if I will accept a less when it comes to negotiating. At the moment I can see me keeping the...
I know it wasn't cheap (about £130 I think) but I needed a wheel to drive the car lol...unfortunately no one else sells them any cheaper. The ones you can get direct from Speedline have a different offset and won't hold the Renault centre cap :(
T5phy, the engines are identical but they vary considerably in the amount of power they produce.
I normally get about 31mpg when driving 'normally' vs 36mpg in my 182 FF. On the motorway I get about 35mpg in the trophy whereas the 182FF delivered 39/40mpg+.
So, is the summary that the RS Tuner...
Has anyone with the RS Tuner experienced an improvement in fuel economy when driven with a light foot of course?
I'm quite baffled as I seem to get much lower MPG with my Trophy than I ever did with my previous 182 full fat, I thought it would be the other way round seeing as the Trophy is...
I have a refurbed Trophy Turini for sale. I just paid £55 to have it refurbished, but colour match is not perfect i.e. not as glossy as the original wheel and marginally darker in colour. In fact I'm not even sure it's possible to refurb these wheels to their exact original finish unless you...
Can't say I've even noticed there was a mirror on the passenger side sunvisor...but looks like you've done a good job and gained yourself an extra interior light :D
You don't really have many mods so probably not worth the effort of putting it back to standard. I know when I was looking for a Trophy I would have actually preferred (and paid a premium) for one that had already had improvements like the indicator stalk, exhaust, silver visisions, brakes...
Mines rubbish compared to my old BMW. At least it cools the air a bit though, I personally think it is a necessity especially on the motorway and in heavy traffic on hot days - keeps you feeling fresh :D
Surely it's not that heavy?? 12kg or something?
I think that generally V-Power gives better bhp when up in the revs and Ultimate offers more low down grunt, hence feeling more responsive. Tesco's 99 feels the most potent to me (and it's normally the cheapest!) but apparently it's a bit harsh on the engine over a long period of time but I'm...
Mine whistles when revved stationary or moving in slow traffic - sounds like a turbo. It's happened since I removed the acoustic valve, not sure it's a problem though??
7Mat has a good one - check out his gallery.
I asked him and I think he got it from ebay and said it was made by Autoleads - I haven't found one yet...
I had this fitted for a while which looks good but was terrible for reception - just too short:
Just been over on Cliosport and that's the same fitment that everyone has and they're happy with it. To be quite honest - I'm not. So the search goes on for a better aerial.
Someone can buy this of me if they want...
Hoolio thanks for the tip for removing polish marks.
Sam
Well received my CTR aerial today and I'm not impressed with the fitment....
The base of the aerial is larger in diameter than the plastic bit it fits in to.
Is this normal of the CTR aerial or have I got the wrong one or something??
At least the thread is the right size.
I bought a beesting one off ebay which is only about 10cm long and looks great - problem is reception is just not good enough so just bought a CTR one off eBay. There's still a couple left but I'm sure they'll go quickly:

Just picked up from dealer and all is well - the rattling seat has been cured (for the time being)!! And even better, Reno have managed not to damage anything else, in fact they even cleaned my car inside and outside. Most impressive
I have the Pagid blues and can report they are exceptionally good, they're even OK when cold but better when warmed up. Mine squeel quite a lot, sometimes when i'm not even applying the brake...I think that's just cos not enough copper grease was appled when fitting.
I can't comment on the...
