#387 is going up for sale this weekend. 126k miles but mechanically sound. Dampers rebuilt by Rik Perry 1k miles ago. Cam belt done 10k ago. Wheels refurbished 500 miles ago. It's as you say - exhaust, brakes and that's about it for mods. Is the paint the most mint? Nope. But the choice...

Would need to be someone breaking a car I guess...after a Trophy bonnet. I've got a small dent at the front and some rust under the sealer. Long shot...but worth asking!

I paid £3.7 for mine with 125k on the clock. That's 10k a year which isn't much. Mechanically sound - few little cosmetic issues. Definitely a Trophy that I feel no guilt for driving....taking on a track day...or doing a hillclimb. If I were to sell it then I'd imagine it wouldn't be worth...

So swapped the cup dampers out for Rik Perry refurbished Sachs that came with the car. Went out for a couple of drives expecting to be blown away...not so much. Maybe feels a little more supported in a corner - plus point. Ride is worse pretty much everywhere - negative point. Doesn't feel...

Anyone ever cut the spring perches off a pair of Sachs and fitted linear rate 2.25 or 2.5 springs? Sacrilidge...but a way to get right rate and height. Just a thought for mid-rebuild.
