Whistling under acceleration

Can any one shed any light?

The T has started whistling when accelerating. The harder the acceleration the louder the whistle?

I've got a maxogen fitted, which I've had no issue (or whistle) with for over 12 months, all pipes from filter to plenum seem ok.

any ideas?

seem it maybe normal? Had a 182 and 172 and the T for nearly 3 years, and new noise to me!

Mine started doing this around 2 years ago, I fitted a de-cat pipe and it went away. I did some research and apparently the cat can develop a hair-line crack which you cant see by eye and this causes the whistling noise. Surely enough when I refitted the cat for MOT the whistling noise returned.
