Ball joints

Hi Cue,

Well I've brought ball joints stand alone from here @ £5.50 + 2.75 postage.

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... 0427395392 :D

I know a lot of people probably don't agree, and are willing to pay for the complete lower wishbone. [-X
If yours has done 40-50k then I'd go the complete wishbone route, but as mine had only done 22k went for the stand alone ball joint.
Hope this helps ?
Chris

No worries you will probably will get them cheaper at the factors its just the warranty if you have to think of when getting parts such as this!

Also Cue have you tried warranty on your ball joints 60k or 4 years i think there covered even tho warranty has run out!

Do you need the full aux belt kit when doing the cambelt??

When my 172 had its belts done it was a cambelt kit with 3 pullys and an aux belt on its own.

I took mine in for the ball joints below 60k, although close to 60k and before the warranty had ran out and i was told a straight up NO, its the old 'Wear and tear' crap, same as the Steering wheel issue.

Thanks for the prices!

Can I be a right pain in the arse!? When you get a spare moment can you check the prices for the bits listed below?! My car needs some TLC over the next month or so:

Rear discs
Rear pads
Coolant
Brake Fluid
Engine Oil

I sense an expensive month coming up for me too!

Many thanks!

:)
