Morning all, not been on here for a while!

Seeing as we had freakishly good weather yesterday (I got sunburnt ffs!), I decided to give the car a mini detail and grab some pics. I also found a 197 RS badge that I forget I bought 18 months ago, so stuck it on. Nothing special with the photos tbh, more quick snaps while scouting for a new location and avoiding security.

Also, for the photo geeks, managed to test out a lens that I bought last summer...I thought it was broken, but turns out is was just me being a mong and it's fine - happy days. It's a Tokina 24mm F/2.8, pure retro. Love it tbh, manual focus and aperture, but that's all part of the fun.

After debating for the last month or so whether to sell the Trophy or not, I've decided that unless a really good offercomes up, I'm not going to bother for now. Doesn't scrub up too badly for 87k and I'm attached to the bloody thing!

What size is your front plate, looks a bit smaller than standard?

Camera wise I'm using a Nikon D5100 and a selection of 50mm f/1.8, 24mm f/2.8 and 55-200mm f/4-5.6 lens's. The final picture was with the kit lens.

Settings wise, I generally stick it in Aperture priority at ISO100, but since the 24mm is fully manual it's a case of trial and error with the shutter speed; you don't even get a light meter, lol. Not ideal when you have security chasing you around!

Plan to invest in some off-camera lighting soon, but have no idea where to start!

Actually gave mine its first proper wash and polish since I have had it (just over a week now) and took some pics. Had a good run out yesterday as well. How do I post the pics??!!!

Gaz, off the top of my head it's 84mm x standard width mate. Just for the record, it's not strictly legal...but I've had mine on for 18 months/20k miles or so with no problem.
