Suspension Top Mount - Warranty

I've been getting a creaking when reversing off my drive lately, which seems to have stumped quite a few people that have looked at my car and cast opinions. After a 2 day (without car) row with my renault dealer about whether my car has standard suspension of not. They have now agreed to solve the problem which they say is the suspension top mount on the passenger side.
Just thought i'd make a note in case anyone else was creaking :lol: without knowing what it is!

It's a known fault and if you've ever seen the whole crappy top mount you'd understand why it creaks. What would be really nice would be a hybrid rubber/solid top mount, a mixture of whats on there-rubbish and the solid top mounts that some of us have fitted- excellent but a little harsh.

Not yet, but then again i havent been home, so no doubt got a stack of post! Thanks in advance!
So how long do the top mounts seem to last? And where do the uprated ones come from?

a few places do solid top mounts. Prices range from £200 to £500. More you pay, the better they are is the general rule of thumb with them.
