I just use a free iPhone one called navmii, the Trophy has a little recess where the iPhone fits perfectly so it works for me

Obviously it does run your battery down a bit on long journeys but I have a portable charger if it becomes an issue

I don't know why anyone would bother buying a sat Nav, I've been using ones on phones for 10 years, Google maps is spot on,

Retro, does your iPhone suck up more power than your cigarette lighter can supply?

Not sure. I don't bother attaching it as my only car charger is for my old iPhone 4S (which I still use as my workphone is a 4S)

When I drive the Trophy I just pop the iPhone in that little recess without a charger as I only ever do short journeys in it

I wouldn't bother with a sat nav. Always out of date. I use Google maps most days for work never a problem. Mikeyjp I have a HTC at it does use more power than you can get from a cigarette socket
