Very nice Hoolio! What did the Sachs set you back if you don't mind me asking?

I'll be following suit with both of those soon....

Are you plumping for the original Sachs or thinking of going aftermarket with the Koni? I don't actually need them yet but with the ten year barrier fast approaching, the threshold when a manufacturer no longer has to supply parts, I think Reno will simply not want to bother with a part limited to a small and dwindling number of cars.

Because of the interest in these parts I have now ordered 4 and will see if it is possible to buy any remaining stock.

I appreciate the standard rear dampers are OEM and a great match for the Trophy, but is anyone in a position to comment on whether they, the standard Konis, or Mark Fish Konis are better?

Probably far too subjective to be able to answer, perhaps a better question would be, has anyone changed rear dampers and been unhappy with their choice?

i am 110% happy with my mark fish rear koni, they are awesome, much better having them tweaked harder than the sach, handles much better feels more responsive, get it tighter in to the corners

Claude I've tried OEM, Koni's, Mark Fish revalved Koni's and my own and unless your doing a lot of track work just go OEM.

Drop me an email matt@stealthsport.co.uk if you need any advice or prices.

How much are you selling the OEM ones for Matt? My current ones are only around a year old, but i've been considering ordering another set to hold onto just in case...!

The 4 I had are now sold out.

I am seeing how many I can get hold of as the cars are getting close to 10 years old now and Renault may no longer supply them.

Scare tactics to boost your sales.;)

Whilst Renault actually have a good record supplying parts for cars that dropped out of the range years ago, the fact remains that after ten years though they may be obliged to, there is no legal requirement to carry on doing so. I don't know their policy regarding the rear dampers, they seem to be available in batches and maybe the availability it not so scarce at the moment, I personally am not convinced that when numbers of the Trophy begin to drop like a stone in a few years due to age, mileage and expense of parts that Renault will keep ordering them.
