letter from renault

anyone else get a letter from renault regarding the infamous bonnet catch?
basically they are writing to every mk2 clio owner to say they havent found a problem... :?

Yeah I got it last week, booked car in to stealers, went down on friday to get it looked at.

They had the keys for literally 2 minutes, car didn't even enter workshop!

Actually a complete waste of my time and theirs, I only went because I thought I would get some form of inspection stamp in my maintenance book, but apparantly not!

I could have checked it myself in 30 seconds if I'd have known.

Yep got one of these last week.... Recently had my car back to the garage so it was checked then and all was ok

Renault seems to be trying to improve the recent bad publicity it has had and, also, in the process negate any possible legal challenges by issuing the letter.

Typical big business tactics!

i haven't had the letter - Reno are dog dice at writing to me, they only thing i've had through from them was the Cadwell park CD - this wasn't sent from their central database though..... I blame the steelers I bought the car from..... fecking useless at everthing!
