Hello all. :)

I have a pair of HiSpec Billet 4 pots which i no longer use as they were fitted to my previous car (a fiesta). Obviously at the moment they are for a ford fitment, so if i were to use them on the T I would need a new mounting bracket (i think). Do any of you think that it would be worth it to fit these to the trophy, or should i just sell them as i think i remember reading a previous thread saying that they were not the best brakes in the world, although on the fiesta they were a tad overkill!? They are in a need of a tidy up but other than that they are fine.

Thanks a lot 8)

They are much better than compbrake IMO, i've seen some shocking stuff made by compbrake.

My hispecs were faultless and i've fitted loads of sets. Only complaints have been disc problems on heavier cars.

You would need new mounting brackets which just bolt on, new hoses & the correct discs for the clio - offset & pcd will be different obviously although the fiesta ones had 4x100 and 4x108 last time i saw them?!

Yep they are 4x100, i wouldnt be able to use the discs anyway because they are 325mm!, so 17"s or bigger.

I just spoke to hi-spec, for new discs and mounting brackets would be £430.00 quid so not really worth it, for what i could sell them for i could easily get a good set-up on pads and discs.
