Heatshield Washer Problem

Noticed an annoying clattering type noise the other day.. Further invesigation showed that it was the heatshield above the exhaust back box. Seems that the one of the points that it's mounted behind a washer has worn and broken away.. The washer is still there but obviously no longer large enough to hold it up. I'm guessing it's simply a question of replacing it with a larger washer.. Has anyone else had this problem?

yeah i had exact same problem the washer just corroded its just a case of replacing with a bigger 1, the noise of the heatshield rattling sounds really loud when driving then when you look underneath you wonder how it makes so much noise lol

Thanks DFV, I only noticed it initially when I had my window open the other evening. Of course, once you know it's there, you notice it all the time. Made considerably worse by puting the back seats down to fit my bike in over the weekend.. Then I really noticed it.

Will hopefully get it sorted before the meet on Sunday or else I may be a little sheepish!
