Hi folks.
Im after a bit of advice.
Ive just in the process of sorting my garage out, ie flooring, and lighting.
Can anybody recommend any GOOD flooring to cover a concrete floor, interlocking tiles, etc etc.
The floor isnt sealed, is it a good idea to seal it before laying the "tiles".?

Also, advice on lighting.
Its a double garage, measuring 6.5 x 4.95 m.
With a normal ceiling height.
Im looking at some LED panel lights that can be fitted between the roof joists, ie the fittings are 300mm wide and 1200mm long, giving out aprox 3000 lumens each. Im thinking of fitting between 4 and 6 of these, yes i want it bright..

Unless anybody has any other / better ideas.??

Cheers Dave.

Dave - I bought some heavy duty Fortelock interlocking tiles a while back, from Mototile. Seem to be holding up very well.

I didn't seal the garage floor first, but you'd want it nice & flat.

Can't help re lighting.

re both, it depends on the look and budget.

Personally, sealing the floor and painting would be both cost effective and ok, but you may need to redo every 10-15 years.

Lighting, LED's is the way to go, I'd have a two solutions - one for brightness if you need it and one for everyday light levels, so a couple of spots and some embedded ceiling lights?
