As im having a bit of a spend on refreshing the suspension on my T .
I remember a while ago somebody sourced some plastic spring protectors [or was it some home brew tubing], to help stop the front springs rusting,
Ive got a set of Mark Fish springs on the car and love them, but as im having them re-powder coated, to remove a bit of surface rust, ide like to give them a bit of protection.
Now ive looked back to around Xmas time 2016 on the previous threads, and cant seem to find the it,,,,, can somebody point me in the right direction... PLEASE...

FYI, The OEM and Mark Fish springs are the same diameter.

Just refitted my springs to the shocks today. Around 75-80cm is the length you want to cut the tubing, this gives you the coverage as in the picture of mine.

You'll want a tub of very hot water to soak it in and a penetrating oil of some description. Don't worry if it gets stuck a couple of times, it did with me. Just chuck the spring and tubing back into the hot water for a bit then a spray of penetrating oil down the tube and on the spring will see it fly round.
