Hiya Guys,
Like a few of you I think and good ol George K in particular the only real competion the CT has in class/age and size is the Intergra DC5....
So it was very interesting when George and I were both entered into the Chivenor sprint (Devon) a couple of weeks back.
I have always thought there is not much that out handles the CT but the DC5 with a reported min of 220HP in standard form and the CT with its slightly puny (if Torquey) 170ish HP .. The Teg although about 10% heavier should win in a straight line.
Even more interesting there was in the Chivenor tradition a dead straight 1/4 timed start...
So how did it go?... well we both did low 15s/mid 90 mph runs so basically a dead heat.
Both cars are bog std, George has non std susp but that makes little diff, so a tremendous result for the CT, still the perf bargain of the decade....
