Reluctantly putting #353 up for sale due to lack of use and available time.
The car presents well for its age but of course is showing a few small marks, which can be expected at this age. It is by no means a garage queen and has been used and enjoyed during my ownership having covered 92,700 miles. Unfortunately I’ve only been able to put around 5,500 miles on it in that time.
All desirable Trophy components are present; Recaro Trendline’s, OE rear bench seat, OE Eibach springs, Sachs dampers, 16” Turini wheels and V6 boot spoiler. On top of this, the car is fitted with the desired Scorpion RS192 exhaust and has an aftermarket sports cat. The only other modification is Powerflex anti-roll bar bushes.
Dampers were last rebuilt in July 2020 and a full cambelt service was completed in January 2020, therefore these won’t be due again until 2025. MOT will be due January 2023.
I can provide a folder full of history, invoices and receipts going back to 2009 as well as both keys.
The only issue I have noticed in my time with the car is the intermittent appearance of the ABS and ESP lights, which I believe is the common problem of corroded/dirty ABS rings. However, I cannot fully confirm this as I haven’t found the time to get this rectified.
I’d say that #353 would be the perfect useable project for someone who is looking to get out and enjoy a Trophy without worrying about significantly reducing its value or desirability. I did plan and still imagine that with a small cash injection, this will be an excellent example in the near future.
I think it’s competitively priced at £11,995, but am open to sensible offers as it’s taking up space I don’t have and I hate seeing it sat around not being used and enjoyed like it should be.
