197 F1 team R27 in RED !..?...newcastle

sunday 1pm....so coming onto the A1 / A69 roundabout a RED 197 R27 flew past...but now i'm wondering...it was probably just a 197 with the sticker kit on,but it had the wheels too and the little red F1 sticker on the back window....
anyone else spotted it...?

Evans Halshaw in the 'Boro had one in their showroom for a while - may possibly be the same one?

why was i thinking they were only available in yellow?...so how does the 500 examples work?
500 in each colour? or in total?

I didn't think they were a limited run either but having read up on the Renault website, they are claiming to only produce 500 :?

I bet Nik or someone could shed some light on the matter :wink:

Yeah its 500 in total - available in any colour (from the colours listed on the website - Liquid Yellow is the only exclusive as far as i'm aware). My local dealer has a red one in at the moment.
