I’m not 100% sure it was used on the R26R, I know they are used by AML, BAC, prodrive etc We at BAC supply them as standard on all cars

Further to add to that, these are able to be shipped by air freight. You can’t do that with a lead acid. I work for BAC, we use them in them in the Mono, have had zero battery failures in 118 cars... There have been many accidents as you can imagine, no issues with the battery.

I would say it’s safer than a lead acid, a lot less weight to move about, they are heavily tested... They are widely used in the racing and rallying fraternity, this is direct from the website

That’s why i bought the conditioner with it, trickle charge... Any battery going completely flat isn’t great We use the smaller one where I work, haven’t replaced many, we use 60-70 per year, cracking way to save 10kg of weight!

they are! It’s brand new in the box, and the charger is a conditioner also,it can bring it back from flat if required... I agree in keeping it charged, can’t be much good for it!
