KS - have you any pictures of youre williams that you say you own? can you post some up i would love to see them all. I love the williams cars and would love to see pics of some that a in as new consition? cheers
i got a lot of looks today. i spent ages cleaning it and it looked the bollox. everyone stopped in their tracks. grown men were crying, policemen were turning in their badges, even the birds stopped flying and landed on the nearest branch just to get a look. 8)
after many posts from individuals i though i'd just share what happened today.
I do about 3 miles a day in my car so at weekend i like to have a good blast. once the car is warm i wind it through the gears and for the first few hard blasts the vapour is terrible, water on the rear window the...
Its not the handbrake sticking as such. when parked with the handbrake on, obviousley they are in contact with the disc - as opposed to front having a clearance. On a moist night surface rust forms around the pad so when you release handbrake and drive of it 'clunks' as the bond breaks. Its...
it will help if you can get a letter from youre boss basically saying how you need the car for the job and that you will be at risk if you lose youre license.
I agree with the overall point of KS, however some of the terminoligy is incorrect. ie if the suspension wasn't in a state of equilibrium then the car would resting on its bump stops or busting out of the damper - a state of 'equilibrium' in applied engineering is when opposing forces are equal...
i suppose if i wasn't privvy to thespecs of various 172's and 182's etc then i would be the same as mattykimbo. come on guys, cut him some slack.
King Stromba can be annoying, but i do think he livens things up a bit! Its just finding that fine line in being objective and argumentative...
yeah, it is a weird one.
all renaultsport clios are the same, 172 and 182's that is - not sure about the v6 though.
maybe get renault to check the oil temp sensor, should be really warm by that time.
the car has a limiter that inhibits revs when the oil is not warm enough, hence the early cut. it takes a good 10 - 15 mins to warm up. Its there to protect the engine from being ragged when cold.
once the car is warm, you will find the car will rev right up until 7250 rpm, and it makes a big...
yeah, all free!
dont get confused though, they are a raspy, tinny exhaust. and it will get louder with time as the engine free's off.
mine was a proper rattle - you'll know when its not right
well after waiting 4000 miles for it to quieten off and it not doing, i have had the mid box replaced under warranty. took it to renault dealer in st.helens. had a word with the lad about looking after it and being carefull etc and he was spot on! a 172 owner he was really carefull. Also had the...
