as above - eljeffo is correct, should be replaced in pairs...
If you struggle I have a couple in storage that I may let go to a good home from my spare suspension. only done a couple of months driving...
Gman - having run both round various tracks I can honestly say R888's are around 2-3 seconds a lap quicker than PE2's. Full slicks around 5-6 seconds a lap.
The difference is noticeable, the cornering g force you can carry is immense.
I know for a fact that the trophy is quicker round the...
FWD cars - what stops you? what powers you? what controls you? yep, the front wheels, more grip on the front is the way to go not less.
RWD cars - the opposite, more grip on the rear is what you need.
I've just stuck two new PE3's on mine and to get the car to the tyre place I had to swap...
shows the virtues of getting the car on track to learn it's and yours limits. On the public roads not many actually realise how flipping fast these cars are - many run out of talent before the cars limits are reached, your not the first and i doubt the last.
I've seen this aftermath before on...
34 - i pay £390 a yr :)
the trophy is grp 17 btw - the normal 182 is 16. if your policy says 16 it's wrong, you need to get that sorted ASAP as it'll give your insurance company a get out clause should the worst happen.
you may find it useful to check the solenoids also - in the engine bay near the battery. a common failure on 182's. could be a sensor also but i'd say check the electrics first as it's a cheaper fix.
iirc thats the brake fluid bottle... when was it last changed?
the washer bottle is just above it in your picture to the right - nearer the wind screen
value is subjective. As I said I got 2 years from oem pads - £50 ish? yet probably will get 4-5 years from ds2500's at £70 (what i paid).... I see that as a cost saving not a massive waste of money.
Wheaty - yozzasport, albeit a few years back now. God knows which flavour I know didn't know...
i'm buying my 3yr old a new bike - i'm thinking it needs a pedal back brake (for safety as they've never ridden before). anyone got experience in kids bikes?
Pneumatic tyres for me are a must also....
if you're planning on running them as a road tyre, i'd wait for sunnier weather before fitting them - get a decent tyre or spare set of wheels for winter use as you won't move when the snow and ice hit with track orientated tyres... been there done that.
i personally would go for the DS2500's. In my experience cost savings to be made on brakes always lead to more expenditure in the long run by either higher wear rates of poorer pads/disks or expensive repair bills/insurance bills when they don't perform to the levels you expect.

does it beep when the seat belt is plugged in? if so it's the seat belt warning - plugging the belt in disconnects the beeper not the other way around.
If not then i'm stumped - i've not seen it before, so could be something to do with a connection to the radio or something similarly obscure.
