Surplus to requirements now the Trophy has gone. 4 x 1 litre bottles of Elf Tranself NFJ 75w-80, un-opened & sealed - the right oil for your gearbox. £30 (for all four) collected from West Devon or Southampton I could post at buyers cost but I doubt it'd be cost effective.

Found these whilst having a garage clear out. My old Trophy sold before I got around to re-furnishing the Sachs so they went unused. Purchased via this forum and asking exactly what I paid. £20 for the pair posted.

Make sure replacement is a genuine Magneti Marelli from somewhere reputable. I bought a "genuine" one off eBay, looked ok at a quick glance but closer inspection suggested it wasn't. Didn't cure the injector fault code when installed. Bought another one from Eurocarparts and immediately cured...

I think a decent Trophy is almost at the stage where the old saying "it's only worth what someone is willing to pay" could be replaced by "it's worth what an owner is willing to sell it for".

Price is good, car looks good - just the wrong time of year I reckon. Also think some (not all) of the wanted posts on here are from window shoppers.

Mmmm, maybe previous de-catted TVR's and a naughty exhaust on current Exige have skewed my perception of "not too loud". Or I'm going deaf because of them...........:grinning:

400 miles this week in the T - (my daily driver needed an MOT). Enjoyable but wouldn't want to use it like that every week - it's not a great motorway car!

This time last year I got a Bosch S4 063 from Eurocarparts for £41 during one of there many 'sales'. Might be worth looking for a current discount code with them...

Oil/filter service then go to Renault. But I'd probably prefer a well known and respected specialist for cambelt. (If I was buying or if it was my car)

Agree that the number of owners when a car bought to enjoy and is 10+ years old wouldn't be a problem for me (history & condition are all important). But these low miles, high priced examples are different. Anyone willing to pay close to £17k for an investment/ornament Trophy will expect only...
