Could be a few things, the acutal A/C condenser would be the likeliest starting point for me, but do post up when you find out as the tracing process could be useful to others.
yeah that's some upgrade then, currently running a 44amp one lol.
Only downside I see potentially is the safety - I know these are rated for cars, but giveen the exploding nature of lithium batteries if a seal is damaged during an accident, should they be located in the boot instead of a high...
Pink = oxidisation of the paint, Red cars are mostly effected due to pigmentation reacting with the infrared rays of the sun.
If the wings are original i.e. have never been painted, then it's possible to restore the colour, through a light compound polish and good sealant. But tread carefully...
No I don't think they were - they were from a base model clio iirc the dynamique but don't quote me on that.
The rear bench pics in this thread show the oem ones. https://cliotrophy.co.uk/threads/possibly-the-best-collection-of-parts-available.54783/
Could be a few things, what do you mean by hunting though? if reving slightly higher - this is normal and part of the 182's engine warm up sequence for the first minute or so after being ignited.
If you're referring to fluctuating revs between say 600 and 2k, it could be anything from the...
If they are older than 10yrs old, then it'll be a tight fit. More room thn in the back of a 911 though, but not much more.
I do laugh when my mates need a ride and I'm the designated driver :)
The Mark Fish set up is as close to the OEM set up as you'll get on the after market.
I echo what Marc said re refurbishing the front dampers though - do not bin them, they are hens teeth to get hold off and if it's a daily driver then send off to be refurbished (BG, Rick Perry or Cornering...
i'd be holding out for £7k at least, given that there hasn't been one sold for less than that in a few years. if you can find two or three for sale - use them as the examples.
If they won't go higher, then you need to make a formal complain. The ombudsman can't get involved until you've had a...
I used a gel that i got when I permagarded mine - nearly at the end of the last batch, so will testing some in the not too distant future.
From my research, the Meguiars Endurance Gel is a good budget choice, Car Pro Perl although slightly more expensive is a lot more versatile from what i...
£540 fully comp seems like a bargain at the present day rip off prices...
If you have mods, i'd look at greenlight and adrian flux for comparisons - no point if it's not modded in anyway.
Not sure its worth it - as they are items which will need replacing every 30-40k or so miles.
You can really see them aesthetically so there's not much benefit and in terms of longevity, I'm not sure powder coating them will add much either...
He does, but not sure on how busy he is at mo - drop him a message, he's normally good at getting back to you. Not used royal, but heard positive things about them...
re both, it depends on the look and budget.
Personally, sealing the floor and painting would be both cost effective and ok, but you may need to redo every 10-15 years.
Lighting, LED's is the way to go, I'd have a two solutions - one for brightness if you need it and one for everyday light...
About to fit mine, feel a bit naked without a spare set - so if this happens again, I'm in for some.
Also, does anyone know the spec of the plastic tubing that covers the springs?
The SGS one's, if you've the right one's, are a slight improvement on OEM in terms of lift capability.. but as above, re the height - the boot is restricted by the spoiler... you'll eventually get used to ducking... lol
