The oem ones are of very poor quality - i'd look at some decent aftermaket stainless steel ones that don't rust and sieze personally. They don't cost much....

hmm food for thought. I discounted the freelander as build quality and reliability seem horrendous. The Ranger is bit on the large side - The size of the freelander is perfect but just too fragile. Nissan Terrano II 2.7 swb version is my current thoughts... ?
