Renault Sport Clio 182 - Full Fat
MOT expired December 2019
This was bought by me in 2018 as a project and has had little or no use since then. Other vehicles and house projects have taken over so I need to move it on unfortunately. Garaged for majority of my ownership - has been on the...
Very quiet on the car sale front! Anyone got any idea if something putting people off? Is it too expensive? There have been a few on the market the last few weeks and I would say mine was particularly mid-range in terms or mileage, condition and price. Any ideas??
My Trophy is going up for sale. We have enjoyed our time together but I just don't have the space to keep her now with my new daily driver and another 182 sitting on the drive as a project.
As far as up to date description, here goes;
Bought the Car December 2016 and had the following work...
So this is what my current situation looks like, not including the van that we have for dog transporting... I may have bitten off a bit more than I can chew at the moment with major house renovations and a wedding next year to pay for. For that reason the Trophy will be up for sale in the next...
Yeah, I know about the whole spacing on the front shocks. I'll get a look at that this week and see. It'll be 60mm spacing if for Cup shocks is that right?
Brakes have all been done since last MOT with Brembo HC discs & Brembo pads from what I can see.
I'm going to have a better crawl about under it whenever its dry this week and see what looks newish, got quite a few receipts for parts but not stated if O/S, N/S or parts replaced in pairs etc...
Well, I think that's cleared things up.
It's got a front splitter but not sure if rear spoiler is any bigger than normal. Pic attached below. I'm pretty sure it must have a previous owner floating around some of the forums somewhere. Got a Cliosport.net sticker in rear window.
So, I just impulse bought another Clio. Be nice to have one I can drive when the Trophy is tucked up in the garage.
I can also scratch my itch to modify this one :blush:
I'll be looking for some advice soon on where to start. First point will be how to get it handling a close to the Trophy as...
Cheers for that Ben, ideally I'd like to see one of these set ups in real life before I bought something anyway. Thats why I thought I'd see if anyone here had used one. I might just have to persevere with the jack and axle stands for a bit longer and start saving for something a bit more...
A proper lift would be ideal one day, too many other things to spend my money on at the moment though :weary:, maybe one day I'll get round to my dream garage/workshop setup! Seem to get a bit more height out the scissor type and it looks like you can lift the whole car on the level too which...
