keep hearing about the new road tax charges...does anyone know how much the trophy's road tax is likely to rise to..?
should i be worried?

Don't take my word for this but i saw a graphic somewhere saying that a car that currently pays £210 (us) would go up to £300.
I did try to find out this the other day on one of the Gov. sites but lost the will to live.

Looks like next March I'll have to buy 12 months tax to beat the rise, I normally only ever do it for 6 months even though I know I'm keeping the car.

I park next to a 1999 740i BMW (4.4 litre) every day on one side and a 2003 R32 on the other.

One is laughing and the other is crying.

Although I did just sell a Brabus Roadster Coupe which is dropping to £90 next year.

For some big engined motors manufactured in 2000/1 it may mean that the 2000 reg car will have a higher used value.

Some cars registered over the cut-off it will mean a £250 difference.
