Xenons aren't standard so if they've been modified then what else has?

Not a very thorough advert in my opinion but that doesn't mean the car isn't an absolute belter.

Whether it's worth the trip will be dependent on how the seller comes across and what information he can share.

Its missing its front splitter, and they are north of £150......
Although a skoda one is aprox £20.....

Apparently it's in a storage and it's been there for over a year.

Also it doesn't have mot and his not willing to put a £40 ticket on but he can guarantee it will pass.

His saying it's the best in the country but it looks half faded.

I've checked the number on the forum and there is a Facebook link which I couldn't see.

So I think it's a miss and rather hold for the right one.

Yeah doesn't sound like a good way to sell a car. Mots aren't that expensive and makes driving a way simple for someone travelling to see the car.

Also advert doesn't say anything about the sachs dampers. Rebuild or not.

I didn't look at the pictures, just read the description, which it turns out is not only lacking in detail but also incorrect!

Go and see it. It could be a gem of a car - you might be able to organise something with the seller regarding MOT, he could well be right it will pass. The images of most trophys look pink in bright sunlight.

Also it be good to have an owner of that car on this forum - best of luck with the hunt. :blush:

The seller will not be present when viewing the car no matter which day I go. Have to deal with the owner of the storage.

Even tho Belts and Dampers have been done, still these few things put me off.

It's just a shame really ;(

It exposes the seller's ignorance to ask for £6k and not even have an MOT on the thing. He'll be waiting a while, I suspect.
