Thanks for the reply. Sorry I wasn't clear the speed limited does work but when the cruise button is pressed it doesn't go into that mode as such, I was just wondering if for some daft reason it was a Renault quirk where the button was as per other models but the trophy didn't have it.

Any ideas what the issue could be?

Hi and welcome. I can't remember how the cruise control worked other than it won't till engine is warm.

Number plate lights are sensible price from local Renault dealers. I get them for under a tenner.

On my old 182 I had 10 years ago I used to just press the button up for cruise. Possibly the 3 position switch is faulty as it pushes down into speed limited. Not massively fussed but hip is aching after a 4hr drive earlier!

If it's a case of the cruise keeps popping out. Can't rem the exact procedure. Take the switch apart.. literally it's easy. Bend the pins back a bit..rebuild .

Should now click and stay.
