    Hi chaps,

For quite a while now my girl has been running like a dream and I have a local garage who know there onions.
But recently I’ve been thinking I’d like to get a Clio specialist under the bonnet to give her a ‘proper’ check, for all the stuff specific to Clios that a regular grease monkey might not think of or know about.

I used to go to Fred, but is there anywhere else in the Birmingham area that people would recommend?

    Cheers

    Mat

I never used Fred. When I tried to he was in the middle of moving to Australia and recommended Sean Edwards in Shirley (www.seanedwardsrenaultspecialist.co.uk/). Had my belts, dephaser & water pump done there. He knows his Renaults.

I'd be interested in any other feedback as I'm in Stratford and will need belts etc. next year

It's not Birmingham, but just a short journey north (near Nottingham) is Mick at Diamond Motors. If you're after a well-established and reputable specialist then look no further.

He's looking after my Trophy at the moment.

Another vote for Sean. Had all my belts done there today, and he certainly knows his stuff, and was reasonably priced. (also help he's five mins from my house! )

I supplied a lot of the parts as I'm in the trade so I only paid labour pretty much.
