Just got her out today for a wash. She still looks like a pup despite nearing her 29th birthday!!!

She's not bad for her age. There's always someone with a better one out there though.

Regrettably I may have to sell her in the near future. I don't really drive her as much as I should and I need the money for other ventures. At the moment I'm trying to think of ways to keep her though.

    Nice choice.
Always loved a decent cossie or RS, it's where my true passion laid for a good 15 years.

Shame the new Rs's will never have the kudos that the cosworth engine had.

amazing efficent/powerful the new ones maybe. Cant imagine folk taking photos of their ecoboost in 20 years time.

You're right @dablk, and I guess engineering has became a victim of itself.

Cossie's are great, but are rough diamonds compared to the perfect engines of today. Engineering has came so far that almost all performance cars have became generic. I can't see many (if any) of the modern day cars having any character, unlike their predecessors.

It's a shame really as the new bunch are fantastic. Probably too fantastic to the extent that they're a little boring, dare I say.

Thanks. There's no better feeling than going out in her. I love the old school cars and love the attention she gets.

I wonder how these new Focus RS owners feel when Cossie's still steal the limelight, haha.
