Good day, Am interested in your car and i would like to know a brief
history of this car and the mechanical condition. I also want to know
your final price you may let this car go and if you would accept my bank
cheque as mode of payment.

Pls let me have the pic for proper viewing cos i may not be able to
visit for inspection but, i would inform my shipping representative to
contact you for possible pick up of the car only after you could confirm
payment in your account.

Hope to read from you with the details to send my payment as soon as
possible

1) full name...........................

2) Address............................

3)Contact phone number......................

Regards
Casper

Yes it's a scam, I get several every time I sell a car.

Not entirely sure of the actual details of the scam, ie. How they benefit but If I was you i'd disregard it completely.

Think it's some sort of money laundering thing, but could be wrong.

I think the cheque 'clears' you let the car go then the cheque is cancelled or found to be fake - somthin like that

Yes its a scam, your better off wasting his time rather then let him move on to his next target. Give him a fake address (better still a police station address) and a great price for the car, let him waste his time and money travelling over the country, he might give up and get a job then

Definitely a scam, I had one the other day, you can generally tell by their over-polite and incorrect tense use of english, Endearing if they weren't trying to rip us all off. As soon as you ask them to come and see the car and you will clear their money they disappear back into the gutter.
