for the cost of the rear dampers ( aprprox £220 pair ) is it worth just replacing these at the same time as getting the fronts re-furbed, im just about to have mine done (22k) and was wondering if it was worth it, they look ok.

I would say unless they are leaking and operate up and down about the same I would leave them.
