Help!

Why do i always do these things at such bad times!

Decided to "quickly" do the wiper stalk conversion to my trophy as it is raining and the stalk arrived this morning.

I have searched the forum, printed off the guide but despite half an hour of wrestling i just can't get the cowling from under the steering column off!

I cant work it out - all three "torx" screws removed, it is clearly loose and you can rattle it about, but i cant get it off. Do i need to remove the stereo control stalk? If so, anyone got any good pics / advise?

I need to get it fixed asap as i am off out to pick up a mate in an hour or so.....

yes, to start with (and this is going from memory) you need to lift the top cowling off first then remove the audio stalk (not using the screws!!!!) there's a little tab that you can unclick it with using a screwdriver.

then the bottom coling just waggels off.....

It should come off without any effort, so don't force it - the guide should show you a before and after from memory....
